Baseball Programs & Player Development Pathway

Cloverdale Minor Baseball offers programs for players of all ages and skill levels — from introductory BlastBall programs for young athletes through competitive 18U baseball.

Each division is designed to provide age-appropriate development, gameplay progression, and opportunities for players to continue building confidence, skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the game.

Baseball Seasons

Spring Season

Primary baseball season running approximately from April through June with practices, games, and league play.

Summer Baseball

Competitive summer teams, tournaments, and additional development opportunities running through July and August.

Fall Ball

A shorter development-focused season designed to help players prepare for the division they will enter the following Spring.

Age Categories

Players register in the division for the age they will turn in the calendar year.  For example, those turning 8 or 9 years old this calendar year will play in the Tadpole 9U division.  The youngest age accepted are those who are turning 5 within the designated calendar year (i.e. Blastball 5U).

Challenger Baseball

For information on Challenger Baseball, an opportunity for children with cognitive or physical disabilities to enjoy the thrill of playing baseball, being part of a team, developing physical and social skill plus all the benefits of participation in baseball at a level structured to their abilities.  Click HERE.

What’s Included With Registration?

CMBA provides players with team apparel and access to shared team equipment throughout the season.

  • Team shirt or jersey
  • Team hat
  • Shared team equipment for practices and games

Players from BlastBall through 11U Mosquito will be able to keep their team shirt or jersey at the end of the season.

All players will be able to keep their team hat.

Player-Supplied Equipment
  • Baseball pants
  • Baseball glove
  • Batting helmet
  • Athletic support (jock/jill)
  • Cleats

Players may begin using their own baseball bats starting at the 9U Tadpole division.
